Delivery, Returns & Warranty Policy



Warranty and Returns Policy:

If within 12 calender months or a stipulated time scale limited by the individual manufacturer, of goods being delivered, any defect in the goods is discovered which is directly due to faulty materials or workmanship, or if a valid claim is made by the customer due to loss or damage in transit, Machines 4 Cleaning will at its discretion remedy the defect or damage by replacement or repair or give credit to the customer.

The guarantee will be subject to the following conditions, it will not apply to any defects or damage resulting to any alteration or modification to the goods without Machines 4 Cleaning prior written consent, incorrect storage, normal wear and tear, misuse, abnormal conditions, incorrect installation by anyone other than Machines 4 Cleaning, maintenance or repair not carried out by Machines 4 Cleaning or use which is not in accordance with Machines 4 Cleaning or the manufacturers instructions.

We undertake that the goods delivered to the Buyer will be of the described technical specification and the Machines 4 Cleaning duty to the buyer relating to the quality of the goods delivered shall be limited wholly and exclusively to the duty to deliver goods of the aforesaid quality.

Save as aforesaid any warranty or conditions, statutory or otherwise express or implied, whether oral or written as to qualify of the goods or the fitness for a particular purpose are excluded and negatived.

The application and use of the goods is the absolute responsibilty of the Buyer. Any other advice and information supplied by Machines 4 Cleaning, whether verbally, in writing or by way of trials or tests, is given without warranty and the Buyer shall be deemed to have carried out his own tests to ensure the suitability of the goods for his intended purposes and applications and the buyer shall be deemed to have placed no reliance on any advice, information or data provided by us.

These terms and conditions do not affect consumers statutory rights.

Complaints:
Occasionally we get things wrong but we are committed to putting them right when we do. If for any reason you wish to complain you can speak to anyone in our customer services department who will endeavor to solve the matter to your satisfaction. Delivery Policy:

Delivery (UK Mainland):
Other than the largest machines in our range, we stock all the products listed on this site and dispatch them direct from our own warehouse. We aim to deliver all orders complete within 3 working days. All orders are confirmed during business hours, together with details of stock availability and delivery times. We deliver Monday to Friday between 8am - 5pm but specific delivery days, including Saturdays, and alternative delivery addresses can be accommodated subject to our own security checks. Standard Delivery is now FREE. Unfortunately deliveries to the Highlands and islands are classed as non-standard and will incur extra delivery costs, this will be confirmed before dispatch. Separate delivery and collection charges apply to larger hire equipment.

Any delivery dates quoted by Machines 4 Cleaning whether verbally or otherwise are estimates only and in regard to any such date, time shall not be of the essence.

Delivery of the goods to the customers address or any other place stipulated by him shall constitute delivery and the risk therein shall pass on such delivery to the customer.

Machines 4 Cleaning shall be entitled to make partial deliveries, or deliveries by instalments and these conditions shall apply to each partial delivery.

All goods will be delivered (or-credited) not more than 28 days after the original invoice date.

Machines 4 Cleaning will not be responsible for lost or damaged goods in transit or loss of the goods or part thereof in transit unless the customer gives written notice of a claim to Machines 4 Cleaning and to the carrier. In case of damage within three days of having received the goods and in the case of loss or shortage within three days of the date of invoice. The customer will be asked to sign a copy of the company's carriers delivery manifest as acknowledgement of receipt of goods. The customer should inspect the goods as thoroughly as an unqaulified signature can be deemed to signify the customers acceptance that the goods are in good condition.

You have the right to cancel your order at any time before a confirmed delivery date.

You have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days of recieving your product without giving a reason providing the goods are unused and in a resaleable condition, you would have to pay the cost of returning the goods to us at your cost and a small administration fee will be charged.

c) Browse down the list of available products with brief description, code number and price.
d) Click on item name for detailed product information or to order the product.

Once on our secure server choose your payment method, complete your details and click on 'submit'. Your order will then be collected by our sales team who will process it immediately.

No matter how you order, we offer a variety of ways to pay, including:

1. Credit or debit card (Mastercard, Visa, Switch, Solo, American Express, etc)

2. Pro-forma invoice. We will send you a pro-forma invoice once we receive your order. Simply post your payment by cheque made payable to: G.P. Cleaners to:

3. Nett monthly account facility (you must have an established credit account to use this facility!)
Please note that we do not open credit accounts for 'one-off' orders except in the case of local authority departments and registered charities who can submit an original purchase order to the address above. We are pleased, however, to open credit facilities to corporate customers ordering consumable products on a regular basis, simply call our accounts department for a credit application form.

We are able to supply goods VAT exempt in accordance with the arrangement between the US Government and HM Customs & Excise (Ref: PRIV 46/7)

Introduction and aim
Machines 4 Cleaning is a cleaning equipment and supplies business, operating from a site in Innsworth, Gloucester. Our main products are cleaning equipment and other associated products. We recognise that our operations result in emissions to air and water, and the generation of waste. It is our aim to comply with legislation and other requirements, continue to reduce the environmental impacts of our business and operate in an environmentally responsible manner. This policy describes how we will achieve our aim.

Responsibility
This environmental policy applies to all of our operations including management, office services, servicing and repairs, delivery and procurement. Mr Roger Giles (Proprietor) is responsible for ensuring that the policy is implemented. However, all employees have a responsibility in their area to ensure that the aims and objectives of the policy are met.

Resources
We will ensure that resources are available to enable us to achieve our objectives and targets.

Objectives
During 2010, we aim to:

  • Reduce the generation of general and hazardous (special) wastes – oil, diesel etc.
  • Inform all customers and suppliers of our commitment to reducing our environmental impact.
     

Targets
To achieve our aims, we have set ourselves the following targets:

  • Inform all customers and suppliers about our environmental policy by June 2010 and, thereafter, all new customers and suppliers
  • Define good industry standard housekeeping, ensure all employees receive training in good housekeeping by June 2010 and incorporate this training into the induction programme for new starters

Monitoring and auditing
Progress against these objectives will be monitored through three monthly management meetings.
